 Carl will talk about his motivations and experiences writing Savage Harvest: A Tale of Cannibals, Colonialism & Michael Rockefeller’s Tragic Quest for Primitive Art, an in-depth investigation into Rockefeller’s disappearance off Papua New Guinea in 1961. A stranger-than-fiction tale, Hoffman will present the story using slides and a video. This fascinating presentation will include a meet-and-greet with the author in a relaxed cocktail-party ambiance, a Q&A session, hors d’oeuvres, cheese and fruit plates, fresh vegetable crudités, and a cash bar. Copies of Savage Harvest will be available for purchase and signing.
